About a year or two ago, Kaity, Bo, and I did a styled photoshoot with the super talented, Brandi over at @Brandi.Nicole.Photos - her work is amazing! It was in the middle of the blistering hot, summer. It was a couple's boudoir and at a lake. To this date, it is one of my favorite photoshoots I've ever done. If you don't know me in real life, you wouldn't know that Kaity and I went to school together since we were in elementary school. When I think of Kaity, I think of a Missionette's sleepover where we rode mattresses down staircases, haha. I don't even know if Kaity would remember that! That is what sticks out to me most, even though we went to the same school for our entire lives! I met Bo when we did the couple's boudoir and he wasn't too thrilled about doing the photos at first, but if it made Kaity happy, he'd do it. I remember him saying that and thinking that they were meant for each other! Now, here we are, doing their engagement photos!!
Kaity and Bo are such an easy-going couple, they were up for whatever location for their engagement session! We were down to The Wharf in Morgantown, the Old Clarksburg Library, either of their Family farms, or the Stonewall Resort. We finally settled on the resort due to how absolutely stunning the location is! I stayed at Stonewall Resort for a bachelorette party a few years ago. So, I had an idea of the area but I forgot how simply beautiful it really is. I've been itching to photograph a session here for the last few years and I couldn't be more happy with how this spring engagement session turned out! Can we talk about how adorable these two are?!?! Seriously, they're a dreamboat. The food is even beautiful! Kaity's mother actually baked all the desserts and the cake for her Bridal Shower/Bachelorette party! They had a few leftovers and used them for their engagement! Who doesn't love a good charcuterie board?? I know I do!
