I have known Angie since I was born, literally. How? She’s my cousin, of course! I was thrilled when she asked me to photograph her wedding in Jacksonville at the Asian Gardens in the Jacksonville Zoo. Fun fact: they actually married each other on Lunar New Year! So, I don’t, technically, have a favorite cousin, but, uh, Angie is high up on the list, haha.
If you want to see more about my road trip down to Florida, you can do that here! If you’ve ever been to Florida, you know that the weather changes very fast. If it rains, it, typically, lasts for a few minutes only. On the day of their wedding, the forecast was showers spread throughout the day. They say rain on the wedding day is good luck. If that’s the case, these two are about to have the luckiest marriage ever, haha. On a serious note, it was a beautiful ceremony and I’m so thankful to have been a part of it. Their love is infectious, you can’t help but smile when they’re together! Abby makes Angie so incredibly happy and I know Abby feels the same about Angie.
If you’ve never been to the Jacksonville Zoo, specifically the Asian Gardens, you will be in awe. Even during rainy parts of the ceremony, it’s just simply beautiful. Due to the rain, the ceremony took place under the pavilion, which, was stunning too.
