• The first benefit and reason to book your wedding photographer ASAP is to ensure that you get the photographer that you want. That being said, most photographers book weddings 1 to 2 years in advance. The sooner you inquire about your wedding date, the better chance that you'll get your favorite photographer! Fall and Summer wedding dates fill up faster, just as a rule of thumb.


  • Engagement sessions! If you book your wedding photographer sooner, you'll have more time to schedule your engagement session. I include a complimentary engagement session with my wedding packages and I suggest scheduling them in a different season than your wedding. This gives more variety in your images and is more bang for your buck!


  • The final reason I recommend booking your wedding photographer ASAP? Payment plans! I offer payment plans with all my wedding packages. The further out you book your wedding, the more time you will have to pay on your wedding package + the payments will be a smaller amount!
